The minds behind Premium Jet

Premium Jet is led by its 3 Managing Partners, each with many years of aviation experience. We all are company shareholders and personally engaged in services and client relations and hence available for you at any time.

Daniel Kunz – the native one …

Daniel is a Master of Arts in Economic Sciences after successfully completing the respective studies at the University of Zurich.

While the first contacts with Aviation already took place during his days at University, he formally entered this professional environment in 1996 as an Aviation Insurance Underwriter. In 2000, Daniel joined Avcon, a Business Aircraft Management company, in the role of Deputy Director of Flight Operations. One year later, Avcon was acquired by ExecuJet and his responsibilities grew to Director of Flight Operations for all European subsidiaries. In 2005, he took on a new challenge at Pilatus Aircraft where Daniel initially was in charge of selling the PC-12 aircraft worldwide and then became one of the Project Managers for the PC-24. After 10 successful years in Stans he decided to start a company of his own focusing on aircraft sales brokerage.

Early in 2017 Daniel was provided with the opportunity to become a partner at Premium Jet AG. In his role as Accountable Manager he is in charge of and responsible for all aspects of commercial air transport with aircraft of our fleet. At the same time, he is also taking care of aircraft sale and purchase activities, be it for aircraft already operated by Premium Jet or for third party aircraft owners.

Daniel wouldn’t go as far as Winston Churchill saying ‘no sports’ but aside from a bit of skiing he rather prefers reading a good book, singing pop, gospel and jazz songs in a choir and activities in his Zurich guild “zum Weggen”.

Fabio Hausammann – the cultural one …

Fabio holds a degree in Business Administration and has multiple years of experience in Controlling as well as Finance and Accounting.

In 2005, he took over as Finance Director Europe with ExecuJet and commenced his working experience in Business Aviation. Fabio successfully opened and started businesses in Germany and the UK each with its own AOC and a representation office in Moscow. Together with the Managing Director of Europe, he was responsible for the overall P&L of an operation including 65 aircraft and various European daughter companies.

Altering circumstances induced Fabio to abandon ExecuJet and to buy into what is today known as Premium Jet AG. As Manging Director he can contribute his know how into running all aspects of Premium Jet’s daily business and still overseeing the Finance-, HR and IT-Departments.

When aviation is not the main focus, Fabio likes nature, listens to classical music and regularly attends cultural events such as operas, theatres and museums.

Marcel Wepfer – the sporty one …

Marcel is a federally certified marketing expert and has several years of experience in the sales and marketing sector.

In 2002, he started his career in Business Aviation as Charter Sales Manager at TAG Aviation AG in Zurich. After two years Marcel took the chance when he was offered the position of Charter Sales Director at ExecuJet Europe AG in Zurich. After the successful set-up of a European charter sales department he was promoted as European Director Aircraft Management in 2007, with the main task to acquire new aircraft management customers and to develop new, innovative and convincing management models. Throughout the entire employment Marcel at the same time always retained responsible for the European charter sales department.

At the same time and together with Fabio, Marcel left ExecuJet and also bought into Premium Jet AG. As Managing Director he uses his knowledge to successfully develop both, the Aircraft Management and the Charter Sales department.

In his spare time Marcel is interested in all kinds of physical activities. Besides his favourite sport Triathlon, he has set himself the goal of climbing Kilimanjaro in the near future. Apart from that he likes meeting friends and having a good time (and an even better bottle of red wine) with them. Soon he will become a grandfather, which he is also very much looking forward to.
